Just Add Water

Happy Monday everyone!  We are mid-way through the current Linky Party at Craftin Desert Diva's, and it is Team B's turn to inspire you!  Tara challenged us to create a project using 2 of the following things - Twine, Buttons, Ribbon or Brads.  Here is what I have created for today:

I chose to use brads and twine.  The patterned paper was a freebie I found online.  The cardstock is from Michaels.  The silhouette stamps is from Flourishes and I did some chalking to add some color.  For  the sentiment, I used Craftin Desert Divas new Summer Lovin stamp.  You can buy yours HERE.

I hope you all come play with us!  There is still 1 week left in our party, so be sure to link up by...  There are great prizes for a few lucky participants, so get your crafty on!  I can't wait to see what you come up with.

This little duck and the card base are both from the Campin Critters Cricut cartridge.  The paper is all from Michaels, the twine is from Doodle Bug and the button is from Walmart.  I doodled around with my Sakura Jelly Roll pens - I even wrote the name of the camp they're going to  - Camp Kidston  -on the canoe.  Here is a close up of the sentiment:

3D Baby Gift Bag - Cardz TV Stamps

Happy Friday everyone!  It is Linky Party day over at Cardz TV!  I love these days, because I play with Mary's amazing stamps - I can always find the perfect sentiment, not matter the challenge!  Today Mary challenged us to create a  3D Baby Project.  Here is what I came up with:

I have to be honest, I am in LOVE with making these little bags!!  I bought the plain bags at Walmart and am quickly and easily able to turn them into a beautiful gift bag!  The cut is from Miss Kate Cuttables.  It was one of her amazing freebies, but now is available for only 50 cents in her store.  You can find it HERE.  I,m unfortunately, put her together backwards, so her nose doesn't look quite right, but I still LOVE her!  The stars are punched from an old Creative Memories star punch.

I used two of Mary's amazing stamp sets on this project.  "Starlight Star bright" from Up and Away, is embossed in white in the upper left corner.  I also used "BIG Congrats" from Ticket Talk 2, and stamped it on one of the star punches.

Our Linky Party starts today and finishes April 2nd at noon EST.  One lucky participant will win a set of Cardz TV Stamps of their very own!  Hop on over to Cardz TV, see what all the talented Go-to Galz came up with to inspire you, and play along with us.  One lucky person will win a set of Cardz TV Stamps of their very own.  I can't wait to see what you come up with!

A challenge or two for my baby bag:
Brown Sugar - anything goes
Crafts for Eternity - anything goes
4 Crafty Chicks -no patterned paper
Crafting with Dragonflies - baby

Happy Tuesday everyone!  It's challenge day over at Pause Dream Enjoy's Crafty Playtime Linky Partys.  Today, Janis challenged us to make a project showcasing TWINE!!  Here is what I created:

Isn't it awesome!?!  The card base is from SVG Cutting Files.  It is their Oval Card Base, and you can find it HERE.  The adorable Mickey and Minnie were a freebie from one of SVG Cutting Files past blog hops.  They give away some amazing one-day only freebies with their hops.  The stamp is from the amazing Miss Mary's Cardz TV Stamps "Heart to Heart" set, and you can find it HERE.    The cardstock is from Michaels and the patterned paper is from my stash, but I think it might be old Stamin Up.  My twine is from Doodle Bug and I did some doodling with my Sakura Jelly Roll Pens.

The challenge starts today and ends March 31st.  Please hop over to Pause Dream Enjoy, see what the rest of the Design Divas came up with, and play along with us.  I can't wait to see what you create!

Monster High Birthday Party Week Day 5 - Thank You

Happy Friday everyone!!  It is the final day of Monster Party High Week on my blog.  I hope you have all enjoyed my projects.  The final thing that every birthday girl needs is a Thank You card for all her friends.  So here it is:

My daughter was so happy to have cute Monster High cards to give to her friends!!  Once again, I used the freebie from Annie at SVG Cutting Files.  I embossed the top part with my Tiny Bubbles embossing folder.  The paper is all from Michaels - even that pink zebra print that a certain little girl chose.  The "thanks" is from TPC Studio.

That's it for this year's party - I wonder what theme she'll choose next year?!?  At least my son's party will be easier to create for ;)

Monster High Birthday Party Week Day 4 - Bookmarks

Happy Thursday everyone!  It is Day 4 of Monster High Party Week, today I have a party favor to show you.  I made each of the girls a book mark for their Goodie Bags.  Here they are:

I bought the bookmark shape in the Silhouette Store.  The Skullette is the same file I have used the last few days.  I found a font on my computer I liked and used it to cut out their names.  I took the finished products to my local Staples and got them laminated.  It only cost a few dollars and was totally worth it.  It will last for them for a long time!

Just in case you missed it, I posted my Goodie Bags a couple of weeks ago.  A picture is below, but if you want to see all the info about it, you can find the blog post HERE.

Be sure to pop over tomorrow to see my final project for Monster High Birthday Party Week!

Happy Wednesday everyone!  It is Day 3 of Monster High Birthday Party Week here on my blog.  Today I am showing you a cute game of pin the bow on Skullette.  Here she is:

This project uses the same Skullette file I converted from a coloring page that I used the last 2 days.  You can see the invitations HERE and the banner I created with Skullette HERE.  All I did was duplicate the bow parts and offset it to create a shadow.  Then each of the girls had their own bow to pin on Skullette!  It was fun!!

Monster High Party Week Day 1 - The Invitation!

Happy Monday everyone!  Today you get more bang for your buck!  It is the start of Monster High Party Week here on my blog.  Last month my daughter turned 8 and she wanted a Monster High Party.  This week I will show you a new project every day that I created for her party.  We are also mid-way through the current Linky Party at Craftin Desert Diva's, and it is Team B's turn to inspire you!  Tara challenged us to create a Birthday Party project.  It all just worked perfectly!  Here are the projects that I have created for today:

I even made a video for today's video - it's been months since I made one.  Check it out here:

So, these are the invitations and envelopes that I created for her party.  The MH Logo and Skullette were converted to cut files from coloring pages with my DE software for my Silhouette.   The card base was created with my Cricut.  I welded together a square and 2 scalloped circles, and Voila!  A great Gatefold Invite!!

Now, I did make a second project today.  Unity Stamps Co is one of the sponsors for the linky party.  They gave Design Team Members some stamps to play with from THIS stamp set.  Here is the card I created:

Super cute, isn't it!?!  The candle is from Miss Kate Cuttables, it was one of her freebies, and is now available in her 50 cent store.  The paper for the candle is from Michaels and all the other paper on the card is from an old CTMH paper pack.  I used a great sketch that you can find HERE.

I hope you all come play with us!  There is still 1 week left in our party, so be sure to link up by March 16th.  There are great prizes for a few lucky participants, so get your crafty on!  I can't wait to see what you come up with.

A challenge or two for my cards:
